The use of our website is generally possible without providing personal data. For the use of certain services on our website, different provisions may apply, which will be explained separately in this case. Your personal data (e.g., name, address, email, phone number, etc.) are processed by us in accordance with the provisions of German data protection law. Data are considered personal if they can be clearly assigned to a specific natural person. The legal basis for data protection can be found in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

The following regulations inform you about the type, scope, and purpose of the collection, use, and processing of personal data by the provider.

**General Information on Data Processing and Legal Basis**

1.1. This privacy policy informs you about the nature, scope, and purpose of the processing of personal data within our online offering and the associated websites, features, and content (collectively referred to as "online offering" or "website"). This privacy policy applies regardless of the domains, systems, platforms, and devices (e.g., desktop or mobile) used to access the online offering.

1.2. The terms used, such as "personal data" or "processing," refer to the definitions in Article 4 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1.3. The personal data of users processed within the scope of this online offering include inventory data (e.g., customer names and addresses), contract data (e.g., services used, names of contact persons, payment information), usage data (e.g., visited websites within our online offering, interest in our products), and content data (e.g., information entered in contact forms).

1.4. The term "user" encompasses all categories of persons affected by data processing. These include our business partners, customers, prospective customers, and other visitors to our online offering. The terminology used, such as "user," is gender-neutral.

1.5. We process users' personal data only in compliance with the relevant data protection regulations. This means that data are processed only when there is a legal permission basis, particularly if the data processing is necessary for providing our contractual services (e.g., order processing) and online services, if there is a user consent, or based on our legitimate interests (i.e., interest in the analysis, optimization, and economic operation and security of our online offering as per Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, especially in range measurement, creating profiles for advertising and marketing purposes, collecting access data, and using services from third-party providers).

1.6. We point out that the legal basis for consent is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a and Art. 7 GDPR, the legal basis for processing for the performance of our services and the implementation of contractual measures is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR, the legal basis for processing for the fulfillment of our legal obligations is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR, and the legal basis for processing to protect our legitimate interests is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

**Security Measures**

2.1. We take organizational, contractual, and technical security measures in accordance with the current state of technology to ensure that the provisions of data protection laws are complied with and to protect the data processed by us from accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction, or access by unauthorized persons.

2.2. Security measures include, in particular, the encrypted transmission of data between your browser and our server. Our website uses SSL encryption when transmitting confidential or personal content from our users. This encryption is activated, for example, during payment transactions and for inquiries you send us through our website. You can recognize that SSL encryption is enabled by the change in the address line of your browser from "http://" to "https://". Data encrypted via SSL cannot be read by third parties. Only transmit your confidential information when SSL encryption is activated and contact us if in doubt.

**Data Disclosure to Third Parties and Third-Party Providers**

3.1. We only use your data within the Weingut Wolf-Link and its affiliated companies. We only disclose your data to other third parties to the extent described below.

3.2. Data disclosure to third parties occurs only within the framework of legal requirements. We disclose user data to third parties only if necessary, for example, on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR for contract purposes or based on legitimate interests under Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR in the efficient and economic operation of our business.

3.3. If we use subcontractors to provide our services, we take appropriate legal precautions and corresponding technical and organizational measures to ensure the protection of personal data in accordance with statutory regulations.

3.4. If, within the scope of this privacy policy, content, tools, or other means from other providers (hereinafter collectively referred to as "third-party providers") are used, and their headquarters are located in a third country, it is to be assumed that a data transfer to the third-party providers' home countries occurs. Third countries are countries where the GDPR is not directly applicable law, i.e., countries outside the EU or the European Economic Area. Data transfer to third countries takes place only if an adequate level of data protection, user consent, or other legal permission exists.

**Contractual Services**

4.1. We process inventory data (e.g., names and addresses as well as contact details of users), contract data (e.g., services used, names of contact persons, payment information) for the fulfillment of our contractual obligations and service provision under Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR.

4.2. If you wish to use the paid services and features on our website, we may need to collect additional data from you for billing and security purposes. This regularly includes your name, a valid email address, and possibly your address and phone number, as well as additional information on a case-by-case basis. It may also include information to verify your ownership of the specified email address. We must ensure by law that you actually wish to receive the services offered, and we can bill you correctly. We use SSL encryption for payment transactions to protect your data, recognizable by the "https://" address line.

4.3. Users may optionally create a user account to view their orders. Required information will be communicated during registration. User accounts are not public and cannot be indexed by search engines. If users terminate their user accounts, their data will be deleted, except where retention is necessary for commercial or tax reasons in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR. It is the responsibility of users to back up their data before the end of the contract. We are authorized to delete all data stored during the contract period irretrievably.

4.4. We store the IP address and the time of each user action within the scope of registration and renewed logins as well as the use of our online services. This storage is based on our legitimate interests and the users’ protection from misuse and other unauthorized use. These data are generally not disclosed to third parties unless necessary for pursuing our claims or there is a legal obligation under Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR.

4.5. We process usage data (e.g., the websites visited within our online offering, interest in our products) and content data (e.g., entries in the contact form or user profile) for advertising purposes in a user profile to show the user, for example, product information based on their previously used services.

**Collection of Access Data and Log Files**

6.1. We collect data about every access to the server where this service is located (so-called server log files) on the basis of our legitimate interests as per Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. These cookies cannot store any other data. Session cookies are deleted when you have finished using our online offering, such as when you log out or close the browser.

7.3. Users are informed about the use of cookies for pseudonymous range measurement as part of this privacy policy.

7.4. If users do not want cookies to be stored on their computer, they are asked to disable the relevant option in their browser's system settings. Stored cookies can be deleted in the browser's system settings. The exclusion of cookies can lead to functional limitations of this online offering.

7.5. Users can opt out of the use of cookies for reach measurement and advertising purposes
